Click Access on the Inventory Screen to change which boxes may have their contents edited. Separate access settings apply to the Edit and Browse windows. A list of all possible edit-boxes will appear. Mark the check-box to allow editing an item. Blank it to cause the cursor to skip over it during editing. This feature has two main uses. There may be characteristics that your station chooses not to use (perhaps you don't want to include "Info/Trivia" in your database). Excluding access to those characteristics saves you having to press {Enter} to advance through the unused item every time you edit a title. You also may want to temporarily change the edit screens’ access settings for special editing jobs...
Example:
You create a new attribute and you want to assign values for several existing titles. You exclude access to everything except your new attribute. You then don't need to press {Enter} through many characteristics that don't need changing.
Artist, Title and Rotation are always accessible.
If you notice that certain edit boxes in Edit Title Details are dimmed and can not be edited, or certain columns are missing from the Browse Titles screen, click Access to change the activation of those items.
