From the Files menu, choose Attributes.
Attributes are musical characteristics that you may define for each title. They
will be used in Scheduling Rules to establish the flow of your station's music. You may define up to nine
attributes, each with five traits.
Here are some samples of possible music attributes and their possible traits:
Tempo | Slow, Medium, or Up (or 1,2,3,4, and 5) |
Sound | Pop, Mass-Appeal, Country, Traditional, Twangy |
Artist | Old, Has-Been, Superstar, New |
Seasonal | Xmas, Summer |
Gender | Male, Female, Girl Group, Boy Group, Instrumental |
Lyric | Depressing, Sad, Topical, Upper |
Style | Metal, Rock, Mainstream, Pop, Dance |
In the Attributes Definition section, you'll see nine boxes... one for each
attribute you define.
With the keyboard, use {Alt+[number]} to move to the attribute you want. Edit
the attribute name (e.g. Gender) and press {Enter} to activate that attribute's
box. Enter each trait with a code-letter and name (e.g.: F Female...). You
must use a different code-letter for each trait in an attribute set
